This is the second complete build that I have done and I must say it has been the most time consuming yet. The only things that are original on this 77 Kawasaki KZ 650 is the neck, motor, wheels and forks. Every thing else was either hand made by me or salvaged from other bikes. Check the rest of my blog for the complete build. Any way, my nephew Don and his son Chris came over Tuesday night and we got the bike fired up and I even rode it down the road. I still have to sync the carbs and add some final touches but I am stoked to say the least.

Just a few pics of the Iron Horse Build.....it's so close to being finished. There's about a full days worth of work (and a new throttle) and it should be ready to fire the ole girl up!
Home made electrical box (battery box in process)
Re-worked a police spot light for headlamp
New jets installed and benched sync'd the carbs
And here's the mag light tail lamp
